If a product doesn't have a Free Shipping label, then shipping will be charged at checkout. A handling charge of $5 to $15, depending on the products and the amount of the order, is included.
Please note that our shipping software isn't always accurate, especially when ordering multiples of the same item or very heavy items. If you are overcharged for shipping, we will issue you store credit for the difference. If you are undercharged, then you got a great deal!
We do not ship internationally.
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. When we receive your order, we reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is available for shipment within the specified time frame.
If your item is on back-order or unavailable, we will reach out to you via email or phone and void the pre-authorization if you so desire. If your item(s) are available for shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within the following time frame according to brand, from the date of your order:

We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@lapidarymart.com.

Hi-Tech Diamond Electroplated Diamond Lap Discs provide a flat grinding surface for general lapidary and glass grinding applications. They perform both rough and fine grinding on stones and glass.
Both 6″ and 8″ diameter discs are available in a large variety of different diamond grits. All discs are available with or without a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing.
Top-grade diamond powder is nickel-electroplated uniformly onto a 1mm-thick steel disc. These diamond discs have a long lifespan and are well-suited for more heavy-duty grinding.
These diamond discs are used on Hi-Tech Diamond's All-U-Need and Slant Cabber lap machines. They can also be used on all other lap machines that accept 1/2″ arbors.
All diamond discs are available with or without a 3M pressure-sensitive, high-tack adhesive backing. Simply peel off the adhesive backing and apply to a backing plate for a permanent application.
Notes:
Max RPM is 4,000.
Discs require a backing plate.
If you order a disc without adhesive backing and do not plan on permanently binding the disc to a backing plate, we recommend purchasing a disc bushing to prevent vibration from off-centered alignment.

Normally these discs are fantastic. The #600 that I recently purchased, shipped with a significant gash in the surface, rendering unusable. These discs are not exactly inexpensive, so something received like this really hurts.

Store owner replied: The mark on the disk happens sometimes in manufacturing. It normally does not affect performance. You were given authorization to return it for a replacement but so far, you have not done so.

I have not used the diamond disc as of yet, due to that I do not have enough backing plates. As soon that I am all set to go and produce some of the stones, I will send you some pictures. I like all of the products that I purchased and hope that I get really down and impress myself. Thank you

Had a very nice agate slab that I decided to polish whole because of 2 cracks running though it. I got out my cheap Chinese electroplated diamond flat lap toppers. I got through 600 mesh and had a nice pre-polish started. So, I decided to go ahead and use my new Diamond Tech 1200 mesh topper. What a disaster! These discs don't smooth - they remove material!! After a brief time I stopped to looks and the good pre-polish I had was mostly gone! I decided to get out my old Chinese 1200 & 3000 discs in an attempt to correct the problem. The slab looks better after the cheap Chinese treatment, but I wasted effort, time and wear and tear on my flat lap trying to use the Diamond Tech discs. Makes me wonder about quality control on other Diamond Tech products...

When attaching to the backplate, I slightly misaligned the lap, leading to strong vibrations. I tried to take it off to re-align it, but taking off the plate made it so uneven as to be unusable. You could claim misaligning is user error, but there's very little information or tooling to get the alignment correct on the first go, and later realignment seems not possible.

I tried a cheap disk off of "A" first. Under magnification these disk have more diamonds and fewer green.
