The Covington Heavy Duty Grinder Polisher is a powerful grinder polisher that boasts a 1/2 hp high-torque motor, which runs quietly to make your workspace more comfortable. It features heavy-duty powder coated aluminum arbor, pans, and hoods, as well as a 1" x 18" turned, ground & polished shaft that ensures the smoothest operation.
With complete customizability, this grinder polisher can accommodate 6" and 8" wheels, as well as accept 8" aluminum heads and 8" expandable drums with both left and right-hand 1"-14 threading. The heavy-duty neoprene sealed ball bearings are greased for life to guarantee the longevity of this product.
The water valve takes 1/4" OD plastic tubing for gravity water flow or 1/4" copper tubing for pressure systems. Spray nozzles under the hood wet the entire wheel face.
Measuring 22" x 24" in footprint, this grinder polisher is supported by an aluminum-topped Lam-I-Cushion base, providing stability and durability.
